What is the average time to get rid of Plantar Faciitis?

You may have heard the term Plantar Faciitis where the bands across the bottom of the feet become very sore and tender. It is especially painful upon getting up in the morning. We have had great success with patients and have avoid surgery for almost all. Specialized treatment include

  • Home Stretching
  • Cortisone shots

We have seen remarkable results with some of these treatments. However every patient is different. Don’t let this condition continue without treatment. The longer it goes on the hard it may be to get rid of the condition.

What can I expect at an appointment?

Dr. Maria spends the time necessary to really listen to her patients. You symptoms are recorded and a treatment plan is developed and followed so you can have the fastest, economical success with your treatment.

What happens if I am a new patient?

We ask that you complete all the necessary paperwork in advance of being seen. I you wish you can do that just prior to being seen or if more convenient just download the forms from this website and bring them to you scheduled appointment.

Do you examine children?

Yes.

We treat the entire family.

What happens if I need a prescription?

We may prescribe a medication or treatment for your condition. Please let us know in case you have any allergy or other medical condition.

If you have already been taking drugs prescribed by your home doctor, please bring them with you for clarification or possible drug interactions and correlations with the new condition.

Insurance and Billing

Do you accept my insurance?

Our office accepts most of the internationally recognized Insurance companies. When you make an appointment be sure to ask.

If this is not your case, or if you have no insurance coverage then you will be expected to pay the bill in cash or credit card at the end of consultation. The original receipt, the signed copy of the credit card bill, the medical report h and the results of tests performed are given to you in order to be delivered to your private or state insurance for reimbursement.

An estimate of consultation fees and costs, investigations or surgery are available on request.

Do I need referral?

If you have private insurance with an affiliate, the referral can be sent from your insurance company to us by fax or e-mail. We suggest that you contact your insurance in order to obtain this referral before your visit to our offices.

If you don’t have an insurance coverage, feel free to come to our office. The billing procedure is as explained above.

Do you have parking facilities?

Yes.
