I really really really love Dr. Chon.
I used to go to the Runner's Institute downtown (because it's near where I worked). However, I didn't feel like I was heard and that my weight was the blame for everything. I spent so much money (on physical therapy and some sort of strange massaging, orthotics, etc...) and time. A big waste.
She took the time to really listen. She didn't have to do any xrays because she was familiar with my foot structure and knew what she was talking about. She made homemade wraps for my feet until my orthotics came. Told me what type of stretching I needed to do, took care of my painful corns, and was just really professional and ethical.
No need to look elsewhere. I'll pass the superficial glam and glitz any day of a place like The Runner's Institute if you can give me the real thing. Dr. Chon is the real thing...hard to find these days.

Dr. Maria Chon is a podiatrist located in the Oak Park Arms. I've been going to her for about 13 years, and now she also treats my daughter. She's very skilled, very friendly, very professional. She's practical and explains everything well.
I've never had any billing problems with her, unlike other doctors in Oak Park. She's one of the most wonderful doctors I've ever met!

My husband was seesing two different foot doctor for months before her, and did not get any better... He saw her one time, she told us to take a natural approach...and my husband's foot get well very soon after that. We really apprecaite her help....
